Hydrographers with U.S. Survey successfully maintain accuracy data manually applying time-tested approaches to adapt ratings temporal changes in hydraulic conditions. The difficulty manual approach is that it subjective, time-consuming process requires considerable skill experience implement. In addition, adjustments make quantification resulting uncertainties problematic. A computer-aided adaptive estimation proposed track sequential relation at continuous-record streamgages. this report, adaptations based strictly on discrete measurement then used compute magnitudes streamflow. entails parameterization cubic regression spline (CRS) for an existing rating or set measurements. state-space model parameterized relations beginning initial CRS using Finally, Kalman estimate magnitude uncertainty flows. case study from streamgage 04122500 Marquette River Scottville, Michigan, five-parameter was estimated provide parameter model. parameters were updated sequentially periodic measurements spanned 30-year period analysis. Classifications and Properties of Materials for Chairside Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing Dentistry: A Review

Background and Aim: Chairside computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems have become considerably more accurate, reliable, efficient, fast, and prevalent since 1985 when CEREC was introduced. The inceptive restorative material option for chairside CAD/CAM restorations was limited to ceramic blocks. Today, restorative material options have been multiplied and include me...

Computer Aided Design for Single-Phase Induction Motors Based on a New Gemoetrical Approach

Design of electrical motors normally involves two main stages: i) Preparation of the main dimensions and parameters. ii) Prediction of the performance. At the first stage the main dimensions of the motor, core stack Lfe and stator outer diameter Do, must be chosen. A set of performance conditions such as breakdown torque, desired output and other important parameters must satisfy the internatio...

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Reduction of discrete interval system using clustering of poles with Padé approximation: a computer-aided approach

This paper presents a method for the order reduction of discrete interval systems using pole-clustering method along with Padé approximation technique. For a given discrete high-order interval system (HOIS), the denominator of the reduced-order interval model (ROIM) is obtained by pole-clustering while the numerator is obtained by minimizing errors between first r time moments of the HOIS to th...
